Therapeutic vaccine capable of treating hepatitis B

Release date:2016-10-18 09:02:19 From: Browsing times:

1995 years ago, the general view of the medical profession, the vaccine only for the prevention of disease. With the development of immunology research, people have discovered the new use of the vaccine, which can be used in the treatment of some refractory disease. Since then, the vaccine has a dual role in prevention and treatment, therapeutic vaccines are specific active immunotherapy. In 1998, foreign countries began to use HBV gene transfer mice as animal model to study the antiviral effect of hepatitis B virus therapeutic vaccine. In the same year, polypeptide in France and Japan began to express some gene fragments with hepatitis B virus vaccine and therapeutic various adjuvants for clinical research, to observe the therapeutic effect of this peptide vaccine on chronic hepatitis B virus carriers. The results reveal that the vaccine has antiviral effect on HBV gene transfer mice, especially the combination with anti HBV drugs, which has certain curative effect on chronic hepatitis B virus carriers. In 1999, the United States developed a new therapeutic vaccine for the polypeptide, and the immunological function of the therapeutic vaccine was studied. The United States has great significance in this research, for this study, the author puts forward some immunological detection methods, these methods can not only predict the therapeutic effect, but also proved that the therapeutic vaccine can break the patients with chronic hepatitis B virus infection is the main immune reaction disorder, namely the hepatitis B virus and its immune antigen the response of immune tolerance.
Immune tolerance is one of the main causes of chronic hepatitis B virus infection status, and it is also one of the most difficult problems to be solved. The treatment of chronic hepatitis B antiviral drugs for chronic hepatitis B virus carriers with poor efficacy, the main reason is that these antiviral drugs can inhibit HBV replication, but not eliminate hepatitis B virus; immune tolerance to body reversal has no positive effect.
From the development trend, the treatment of hepatitis B virus vaccine will become the hot research field especially in treatment of chronic hepatitis B virus carriers for chronic hepatitis B virus infection, it combined with the existing anti HBV drugs, will become a new treatment method.
