In specific sites containing unmethylated cytosine guanine dinucleotide (CpG element) oligodeoxynucleotide (ODNs) is a potent immune activator, can also generate some Th1 induced immune regulator. Animal experiment suggested that ODNs CpG could be used as vaccine adjuvant and immune protective factor. Recently, Chinese scientists on the CpG ODNs D on hepatitis B virus (HBV) replication of the inhibitory effect of expanded in vitro. The cell lines used were 2.2.15 HepG2. 2.2.15 HepG2 cell line and peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) and ODN CpG co incubation for 3 days, the control group only 2.2.15 HepG2 cell line and peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) Co culture. The results showed that the addition of ODN CpG could significantly reduce the secretion of HBsAg and HBeAg. In addition, intracellular DNA HBV and mRNA HBV levels also decreased.
