Pathogenesis of hepatitis B
The pathogenesis of hepatitis B is a complicated problem, which has not been fully clarified yet. Domestic and foreign scholars have conducted a lot of research, the results showed that the liver damage of patients with hepatitis B, hepatitis B virus is not a direct result of the reproduction of the liver cells, but the immune response caused by the body. Hepatitis B virus infection of the human body, can stimulate the body to produce a variety of cellular immune response to hepatitis B virus and humoral immune response, and stimulate the immune response caused by autoimmune disorders. The immune response of the body can clear the liver cells which have been infected by virus, and can cause the damage of the liver cells, causing different types of pathological changes and clinical outcome. Children infected with HBV, often due to the immune function is not perfect, and the lack of the immune response, resulting in hepatitis B virus carrier status or chronic hepatitis. The majority of adult patients with hepatitis B virus infection can pass the immune response, causing acute hepatitis symptoms, while removing the hepatitis virus.
